Shwe Taung Group organised the "Shwe Taung Health and Fun Day 2019" on 22 December 2019 in the Kyaik Ka San playground in Yangon. Shwe Taung employees from all business sectors, as well as Grand Guardian Insurance Nippon Life and Grand Guardian Insurance Tokio Marine participated in the celebration.
U Aik Tun, Chairman of Shwe Taung Group, delivered the opening speech. The event comprised a wide variety of fun sports events including a 2km combined race; Zumba exercises; 200 metre race; 400 metre relay race; and men’s and women's football matches
Following the competitions, awards were given out to the winners. The first prize for the men’s football match was awarded to Shwe Taung Engineering & Construction and the second prize went to Shwe Taung Building Materials. For the women's football competition, Shwe Taung Distribution team won the first prize followed by Shwe Taung Real Estate who won the second prize. The main trophy for the three fun games went to the Corporate Office. The ceremony concluded successfully after Shwe Taung management team presented medals and appreciation awards to all participants.
